Synopsis

TAPS journeys back to Louisiana to examine the storied Oak Alley sugar plantation in Vacherie. Following the death of Jacques Telesphore, the man who constructed the house, from tuberculosis in 1848, his family was unable to sustain the enterprise and was compelled to sell the estate.
