This medical drama is seriously vying for the title of worst in its genre. It feels like they simply filmed two hospital beds and decided that constituted a "hospital." The initial world-building was so flawed, these problems are constantly distracting. For instance, the entire facility seems to rely on one exceptionally talented doctor whose abilities border on magic; without him, everyone would die, which completely undermines any sense of structure within the hospital. There were no established protocols—anyone could wander in and out, perform surgeries without oversight, and face absolutely no repercussions because depicting those consequences apparently required too much effort. The administrative side is practically invisible; there’s just one person seemingly in charge (Tae In Ho), operating with no support system or staff around him to manage things. Compounding the issue, this actor is typically known for playing supporting roles as subordinate characters, so casting him as a lead without any inherent authority or presence has damaged his portrayal and diminished whatever tension might have existed. Many other aspects of the setting are equally disappointing, but these were the most glaring. Still, if you can somehow ignore all of the problems with the environment and just concentrate on the two main characters, then it's not entirely unpleasant. Their initial interactions in the first episode were truly awful to witness, but surprisingly, their dynamic improved significantly later on and became enjoyable—that’s honestly the only thing that kept me watching and made the drama salvageable.
