Synopsis

Max returned home one evening to find a woman in bed with him, sporting a bruised eye. She dismissed it as nothing. When he asked about a visit to her mother, she claimed she hadn't felt inclined to go. This sparked suspicion in Max, and before he could press further, the telephone rang.
