A particularly troubling instance involves Polish partisans depicted speaking flawed Polish with an unnatural accent – apparently, no Polish actors were prepared to participate – making prejudiced remarks against Jewish people and confining them to a train carrying ghetto survivors. This is another effort to shift responsibility for the Holocaust onto Poland, a tactic Germany has employed since 1950 with phrases like "Polish concentration camps," which are still used in German schools.
