The MovieGuys’ assessment really misses the mark; it doesn't seem like they even paid close attention while watching The Boys. Fans of The Boys will likely enjoy Gen V as well. It can be unsettling, just like its predecessor. People don't tune in to either show for lighthearted viewing experiences. I appreciate MovieGuys mentioning my comments, but they clearly didn’t understand what I meant about their lack of engagement with the original series. If you were truly familiar with The Boys, a scene involving menstruation wouldn't bother you as much. It seems that detail might have been what pushed them away from the show, which is surprising considering how graphic The Boys can be. That probably explains their consistently low average score; it appears they just find fault with everything. Also, TMDB featured my feedback because it’s a genuine review—I shared my honest thoughts about the series, and I believe that should be permitted without censorship.
