Synopsis

In the orchard, Monty set about establishing a hawthorn hedge, its branches promising both shelter and beauty. He then attended to a climbing rose, carefully pruning its growth. With an eye toward the coming spring, he began planting tulips. Meanwhile, he stored his dahlia tubers, and offered practical counsel on safeguarding plants throughout the winter months.
