Synopsis

Rainbow Islands, the first sequel to Bubble Bobble from Taito, presents a familiar premise: Bubby and Bobby, now transformed back into human form from their dinosaur days, must embark on a princess rescue. However, instead of the game's signature bubble-blowing mechanic, the brothers wield rainbows, using them to ascend the various levels.
