Synopsis

Conan descended into the residential area to find Lana. He had overheard Lepka’s plan to flood the caverns and attempted to disarm the bombs that had created the breach, but his efforts were in vain. Lana surrendered herself to save the inhabitants, yet after she was back in his custody, Lepka sealed the exit, condemning them to drown. When Conan took her to her grandfather, he discovered that Dr. Lao had been rendered numb and blind by his tortures, rendering him incapable of further threats. D
