Fullmetal Alchemist — Season 1

The encounter with the self-proclaimed spiritual guide, one rumored to perform miracles, filled Edward and Alphonse with a fervent conviction: he possessed the philosopher's stone.

A weighty dilemma divided Edward and Alphonse: whether to expose the truth underpinning Cornello’s miracles, a revelation that threatened to unravel the lives of everyone in the town.

Young Ed and Al were driven by a singular purpose: to resurrect their mother, the unwavering source of strength who had sustained them through the bleakest days of the war.

Journeying towards the man who held a significant place in their past, Ed and Al find themselves unexpectedly drawn into the atmosphere of a town steeped in legend – a place whispered to be haunted by a spectral woman.

Ed and Al boarded a train bound for Central City, and almost immediately found themselves tasked with protecting the passengers – a group that included General Hakuro – from a terrorist attack.

Upon arriving in Central City, Ed and Al take up residence in the sprawling mansion of Shou Tucker, the renowned sewing-life alchemist. There, they commence their preparations for the upcoming Alchemy Exam.

Having recently attained the rank of State Alchemist, Ed scrutinized Tucker's chimera experiments with increasing intensity, a growing unease settling within him as he began to perceive a profound and disturbing irregularity in the work.

Weary of his duties, Ed relinquished his position as State Alchemist. A shadow of dread fell over the town with Winry’s arrival; she seemed poised to become the next target of a relentless killer.

Ed and Al accepted an assignment to survey a remote mining colony, only to find its people burdened by oppressive taxation levied by a tyrannical ruler and his enigmatic Alchemist.

Eager to circumvent an encounter with Mustang, Ed and Al found themselves unexpectedly diverted to a quiet town, only to become entangled in the pursuit of a woman whispered to be a modern-day Robin Hood.

Ed and Al journeyed to Xenotime with the ambition of discovering the Philosopher's Stone, yet their quest led them not to legendary alchemy, but to a pair of boys engaged in the peculiar creation of a crimson liquid.

Ed and Al stumble upon a conspiracy rooted in the past, one connected to the Tringham Brothers’ father and his dealings with the crimson water that now plagues Xenotime with a devastating disease.

From his vantage point in East City, Ed relayed the developments to Mustang. The conversation surrounding Doctor Marcoh and the Philosopher's Stone escalated, culminating in a confrontation between Ed and the Colonel.

The ever-shifting Envy, assuming the guise of Cornello, is encountered by Ed and Al, who then locate Marcoh. There, they learn of the Stone’s profound connection to the Ishbalan Rebellion.

While the Strong Arm Alchemist held back the encroaching chaos, Marcoh recounted to the Elrics the terrible scale of the Ishbal Massacre's atrocities.

With Marcoh confronting the perilous presence of Lust, Armstrong and the Elrics make a hasty retreat to Resembool. The loss of Al during their flight ignites a fierce fury within Ed.

In the quiet of Resembool, during a period of rest and repairs, Ed sought out his mother’s grave. There, Al confided in him, voicing anxieties about the increasing fragility of his own recollections.

The destruction of the First Branch Library by Lust, Gluttony, and Scar left Ed and Al with no choice but to seek an alternative source for Marcoh’s book.

A chilling revelation struck Ed and Al; the core component of the Philosopher's Stone was far more disturbing than they could have imagined. Yet, despite this grim knowledge, they pressed on, their resolve hardening as they made for a long-…

Faults in their protective gear hinder Ed and Al's progress as they confront tormented spirits trapped within hollow shells.

Barry's actions triggered a chain of explosions, an unintended consequence that liberated Greed and the other inmates. Meanwhile, Tucker reappeared, resurrected in an unexpected and altered state.

As Envy, manifesting as the formidable Basque Grand, assembles the necessary components to construct the Stone, Maes Hughes embarks on a mission to liberate the Elrics from Laboratory 5.

Edward’s silence chafed Winry, and Alphonse resolved to press him for answers regarding the nature of artificial souls.

Alphonse fled, and in his flight, he found himself unexpectedly confronting Scar. The latter had been concealed amongst the refugee population of Ishbal, a people burdened by the presence of mercenaries.

Ed and Al, with Winry in tow, embark on a journey to track Scar and uncover the secrets of the Stone. Their pursuit leads them to a startling revelation: a link between Lab 5 and the conflict that ravaged Ishbal.

Ed, Al, and Winry arrived in Rush Valley to collect Al’s automail. As they made their way through the town, Mustang considered that the death of Hughes likely involved someone of considerable rank.

A chill of dread settled upon Edward and Alphonse as they found themselves confronted by Izumi Curtis, their former instructor. Her return heralded a perilous journey back to Dublith, a place now fraught with unseen dangers that stirred a d…

To afford them a valuable lesson and space for contemplation, Izumi left Ed and Al on Yock Island—the very place where she had first encountered them.

On Yock Island, Edward and Alphonse encounter a young boy of remarkable nature. He is, it becomes clear, a being of impossible complexity – an alchemist, a homunculus, and possessed of the extraordinary ability to reshape his very form.

With the military's acquisition of the enigmatic boy from Yock Island, he is taken into custody at South Headquarters. There, amidst a gathering of Ishbalans, Yoki observes Scar.

Disguised as Bradley, Envy steals the homunculus child from Izumi. As she does, the boy, having consumed the Stone fragments, begins to recall fragments of his forgotten history.

Izumi arrives as Edward and Al fight Wrath, a newly emerged homunculus driven by the desire to complete himself by claiming the remaining parts of Edward’s body and achieving humanity.

With Al secured in Greed's clutches, Martel escorts him to the organization's stronghold, leaving Izumi and Edward with the daunting task of a rescue.

Having secured the safekeeping of Ed, Izumi, and Sig, Lieutenant Colonel Archer reinstated Shou Tucker as a State Alchemist and commanded his troops to pursue Greed.

Edward and Alphonse set off for the Ishbal camp with Winry, while at a nearby restaurant, Lust settled into a seat as a figure from her history entered the room.

Ed and Alphonse harbor a desire to understand the Philosopher's Stone, and they intend to pursue that interest by assisting a caravan of Ishbalan refugees being transported further south.

As Lieutenant Havoc delves into the matter of Mustang, he tasks his subordinate, Falman, with the rather unusual assignment of procuring him a companion. Subsequently, Mustang finds himself charged with investigating the reportedly haunted …

The argument had fractured the bond between Ed, Al, and Winry. Separated by bitter words, Al found himself unexpectedly encountering a familiar face. Meanwhile, Winry resolved to delve into the circumstances surrounding Hughes' death, seeki…

Kimblee, now designated State Alchemist, set out with his company for Liore, where Scar was relentlessly tearing at the earth with a heavy stone.

With Lust and Gluttony joining Edward in his battle against Scar in Liore, the final homunculus is at last revealed.

Guided by Rose, the Holy Mother, Scar cautioned the people of Liore against inciting violence as they drew the military into the city.

While Ed is occupied assisting the citizens of Liore, Scar remains the sole individual capable of aiding Alphonse as his armor undergoes a perilous transformation into an unstable, explosive substance.

As the Elric brothers fled Liore, Winry encountered an unfamiliar man in Resembool. Later, she learned his name was the father of Edward and Alphonse.

With Hohenhelm, the father of the Elrics and known as Hohenheim of Light, embarking on a confrontation with the Homunculus leader, Lyra and Rose discover a hidden stairway within the confines of an ancient church.

A convoluted and interwoven past unfolds as Van Hohenheim of Light confronts Dante, the Homunculi's master.

Separation throws the brothers into peril. Ed returns to Dante’s mansion, seeking answers in its shadowed halls. Meanwhile, Al finds himself face-to-face with the unsettling Shou Tucker.

Wrath harbors the conviction that Sloth is his true mother. In a fierce confrontation, Sloth clashes with Shou Tucker. Meanwhile, Ed comes to understand that Al has been deceived by Tucker.

On the northern border, Armstrong initiated a rebellion against the Führer. Meanwhile, in Central, Ed, accompanied by Izumi, engaged the last of the Homunculi in battle.

King Bradley returned home, bearing a birthday gift for his son. Edward met with Russell in the crumbling sanctuary of an abandoned church. Meanwhile, Maria and Denny arrived to offer support to Izumi.

The shimmering portal spat Edward Elric into the midst of the Great War. He had been wrenched from his own time and deposited onto a battlefield choked with smoke and the cries of men. Meanwhile, in the heart of the conflict, Roy Mustang fa…

The weight of his decision pressed upon Edward Elric: to reclaim his brother from the Gate, he would have to offer the ultimate sacrifice. Meanwhile, Hawkeye found the strength to break free from her captors.
