Synopsis

He felt adrift, a sense of stagnation clinging to him like a damp cloth. The news was muted; the newspaper staff were on strike. Then, a call from KFLX radio: a cartoon trivia question. Joey answered correctly, winning tickets to the Donny and Marie reunion. Later, Linda, a technician from Hilltop Cable Company, visited, installing a booster for the cable and then tending to the television. Suddenly, channels previously unseen became available – networks dedicated to truck and tractor pulls.
