It’s truly dreadful. The movie is weighed down by predictable, tired messaging, overused character types, an outdated portrayal of American power (is the CIA still considered heroic?), and uninspired plotting. Undoubtedly, a large audience will enjoy it simply because Arnold Schwarzenegger is involved, but that's really the only positive thing about this unpleasant production. Basically, putting well-known actors into bad shows and movies appears to be the newest strategy for dealing with declining audiences and poor scores. However, this is at best a temporary solution to the entertainment industry’s numerous problems, many of which they brought on themselves.
