Synopsis

Frontline unveils the harrowing reality of the Ethiopian famine, a searing indictment of indifference. In desert camps, described as a stark reflection of hell, nearly one hundred people – children, the elderly, and the infirm – perish daily. Their deaths occur amidst a political stalemate, as the United States and the Soviet Union debate the logistics of aid and the course of action regarding Ethiopia, while life ebbs away.
