The story is going on for far too long and feels excessively complicated. It has just enough to hold my attention—mostly because there's not much else available—but it’s riddled with ridiculous nonsense. From the very first episode of the initial season, they begin piling on the illogical elements, and they never let up; we, as viewers, are simply expected to overlook it all. I am currently watching Season 3 Episode 9. I've already ruined a lot of the plot for myself by reading through the poorly written Wiki pages, and I’m close to giving up. **\[SPOILERS AHEAD\]** Something from this episode that makes absolutely no sense is this: Victor's mother had premonitions about the town and everything occurring there—including the children—long before the town took her and her kids. However, in this episode, we discover that the Child in White never informed her about the lighthouse; he told Christopher instead, who didn’t seem to care at all. Victor's mom only learned about it because Victor was listening in. And for a few episodes now, they've been presenting the idea that Tabitha has been selected to rescue the children because she had dreams about the town when she was younger. We are meant to believe that Victor’s mother was also chosen, so why didn’t the Child in White tell her? Another example: Fatima has been behaving erratically for several episodes, and instead of someone watching her constantly, they leave her unsupervised, which results in her ending up in the greenhouse, killing poor Tillie. Everyone knew Fatima was unstable, but still wouldn't keep their distance from her. Really...
