Tabitha’s character really bothers me; her actions and dialogue often feel nonsensical. I also take issue with the bottle tree plot point. Victor established this tree as significant, explaining it served as a pathway to the lighthouse, but Dale's experience with it was confusing—he became trapped on a wall and died. It seems illogical that entering the tree wouldn’t lead directly to the tower; regardless, even reaching the tower would leave them stranded unless they jumped or were assisted by the boy in white. The rules for escape are unclear, which is frustrating. Changing this established element just to prevent anyone from leaving and prolonging the narrative felt like a misstep.
