Synopsis

Faced with Stan's grim ultimatum – a threat of death that has loomed over them throughout the series (though he remains an unseen presence, a recurring figure who also assumes the guise of the superhero Awesome-X) – the Xtacles must locate a new hostage for the billionaire Xander Crews. Their search, perhaps not surprisingly, culminates in Nearl, the town's well-known, and somewhat diminished, alcoholic.
