Synopsis

A familiar difficulty settled upon Martin as he learned of his former colleague’s hospitalization. The years hadn't smoothed the rough edges of their parting, and the prospect of seeing the man again stirred up a stubborn reluctance to offer forgiveness, a refusal to simply let the past recede.
