Synopsis

The production of *Little Red Riding Hood* threatened to unravel, not due to a faulty plot, but due to Beatrice Beaver's burgeoning sense of authority. Initially eager to contribute, Beatrice quickly assumed a directorial role, offering unsolicited instructions and corrections with increasing frequency. Her pronouncements on the actors’ performances grew more insistent, her suggestions regarding stage direction more demanding. The other performers, accustomed to a collaborative spirit, found the
