Synopsis

A shadow of melancholy clung to Franklin now that Otter had gone. Though he stubbornly resisted the notion, a simmering anger had taken root within him, directed at everyone and everything. But soon, a clearer thought emerged: regardless of his feelings, such resentment offered no justification for his actions.
