Synopsis

A violent storm lashed the Louisiana coast, and a shrimp boat was lost to the sea. The captain perished, but a deckhand survived, rescued after fourteen hours. He recounted to the Coast Guard how the captain’s foot became entangled in the nets, and they struggled in vain to free him. Initially hailed as a hero, the deckhand's story began to unravel when the captain’s body was recovered. The truth emerged: the deckhand had been coerced into confessing to the captain’s murder.
