Synopsis

In three weeks, California firefighters battled ten arson fires. When evidence linked the southern California blazes to fires north of the state—cigarettes and scraps of paper connecting them—the search intensified for a dangerous pyromaniac. Investigators eventually recovered a fingerprint, which led them to an unexpected suspect.
