Synopsis

The 1996 murder of suburban couple Raquel Rivera and Jay Johnson in Seattle remains a chilling case, meticulously pieced together by investigators. Initially, the crime appeared to be the result of a botched drug deal. Yet, despite a thorough search of the residence, no drugs were discovered, and traces of the victims' blood were absent from the suspects’ clothing. The investigation stalled until evidence from the couple’s dog, Chief – who was also murdered – offered a crucial breakthrough.
