Synopsis

The police had no name for the girl whose body was discovered. Yet, days prior, a stabbing victim had offered a fragmented recollection – a possible witness to a murder. A connection seemed to exist between the two cases, and the officers sought proof. Their attention turned to an unlikely clue: a minuscule wad of chewing gum, recovered near the deceased.
