Synopsis

In the spring of 1993, an inexplicable illness descended upon Milwaukee, Wisconsin. An estimated four hundred thousand residents fell victim to a severe gastrointestinal ailment, with four thousand requiring hospitalization. The epidemic claimed over one hundred lives before authorities managed to contain it. While initial suspicions pointed towards influenza, the illness proved to be more virulent and elusive in its identification.
