Synopsis

In the winter of 2003, Jason MacLennan, a St. Cloud teenager, returned home after an evening with friends to a horrifying scene: his father, Ken, lay dead in a pool of blood. Footprints marred the fresh snow outside, a grim testament to a violent encounter. The victim's wallet and watch were gone, suggesting robbery as a possible motive. Yet, before concluding such a simple explanation, the police knew they had to uncover who stood to gain the most from Ken’s death.
