Synopsis

In 1986, Gary Dale Larson was murdered in his Edmond, Oklahoma home, and his girlfriend, Janet Haynes, was sexually assaulted. The assailant, clad only in underwear and gloves, had broken into the house, fatally stabbed Larson, and then subjected Haynes to hours of rape and terror. Haynes' account initially seemed unbelievable, but the evidence at the scene corroborated her story, prompting investigators to enlist the assistance of the FBI and its criminal profilers.
