It’s unexpected to see Flexxcop rated so poorly. I suspect the negative reviews come from people who only glanced at the description and didn't actually give the show a chance. It initially seems like a romance, but that isn't really what it is. Really, it's mostly a dark comedy and crime drama—and a pretty good one, too. The stories involving crime are well done, and the behavior of the wealthy, privileged police officer provides some genuine laughs. It has something of the feel of the original Magnum P.I., which might help people understand what I mean (certainly not like that recent version). The performances are above average, contributing to a series that’s developing into something quite worthwhile. Ultimately, it's more of a crime drama with touches of dark humor than a romantic comedy. It deserves consideration.
