I felt compelled to watch Fleabag given how much attention it’s received. My initial effort resulted in me only making it through a single episode before giving up because it didn't resonate with me at all. A year passed, and I gave it another chance, persevering through three episodes, but still without any connection. It's unclear whether the show intends to be a comedy or satire; both styles typically elicit laughter of various kinds. However, I didn’t find myself laughing and instead found it quite draining. I could grasp the underlying message Fleabag was attempting to communicate, but ultimately I just wished the character would disappear.
