I consider this anime to be among my absolute favorites. There’s so much I appreciate—the fantastic soundtrack featuring indie rock from The Pillows, the central ideas about growing up and engaging with life, and the truly impressive animation that shows a great deal of skill and imagination. It feels like a flawless piece of artistry. People who don't connect with its subject matter might not enjoy it as much, but I still suggest giving it a try. It’s a brief and poignant experience that will stick with you for a long time; definitely watch it.
