Synopsis

The approach of Jocktopus’s birthday always brought a chilling warning to the students of Freshwater High: failure to present a gift would result in a severe reprimand. Oscar, seeking a practical solution, suggested money. The suggestion, however, backfired spectacularly; Oscar himself became the recipient of a peculiar gift from his friends, a token of their desperate desire to avoid Jocktopus’s displeasure. Bea and Milo, witnessing this bizarre turn of events, resolved to attempt a retrieval.
