Synopsis

Ippo’s next title defense is set: he will face Sawamura Ryuuhei. The realization that the Dempsey Roll is susceptible to counterpunches dawns on him, and with it, the stark understanding that he is outmatched. His only hope lies in refining the Dempsey Roll into something more potent. As he considers how to achieve this, a surprisingly familiar face appears before him.
