Synopsis

True to his word, Ippo secured his title defense with a first-round knockout, and immediately sought out Takamura. He found the arena filled with a gathering of Japan's champions, past and present – Eiji and Sendo among them – all offering words of encouragement to Takamura. Following a vibrant entrance ceremony, the long-anticipated world title bout at last commenced.
