Synopsis

They adored their new house, every room and sun-drenched corner. The only flaw was the mockingbirds that claimed dominion over the lemon tree in the backyard, their incessant cries a daily irritation. Determined to be rid of them, the family’s attempts at deterrence escalated into a bitter dispute with neighbors, a conflict that spiraled beyond reason until, finally, someone was found dead.
