Synopsis

Toulon, Illinois, was a close-knit town, unified by a shared sense of belonging—except for the shadow cast by its resident bully, a figure deliberately avoided by all. A decade ago, when his dog bit a neighbor’s son, he harbored a resentment that festered and grew. Now, after being confronted by those same neighbors, the simmering anger finally erupted into a violent frenzy.
