Synopsis

Ted commits an act of genuine generosity, and finds himself rewarded with the prospect of a parish in California – a fulfillment of his most cherished hopes. Yet, leaving behind his longtime companions at the Parochial House presents a considerable challenge. Unless Ted can deliver news of his departure with sensitivity, particularly to Dougal, Jack, and Mrs Doyle, his journey to America will not be happening.
