Synopsis

Don Matteo was on a bus journey when a wealthy elderly woman was fatally shoved. He witnessed the event from a distance, unable to discern the perpetrator. The ensuing police investigation focused on the victim's nephew, a vendor who had been selling goods on the bus. Don Matteo discovered that the nephew’s motives extended beyond the inheritance.
