Synopsis

In the heart of the Italian countryside, Nerino, while wandering the woods, stumbled upon a hidden cavity. Within, he discovered an ancient Etruscan tomb, its chambers overflowing with priceless artifacts. But when the authorities arrived, the treasures had vanished without a trace. Suspicion immediately fell upon Lanza, a man with a prior history of theft and a reputation for gruffness. Yet, Don Matteo, the local priest, harbored a different suspicion, his gaze fixed on a certain Mr. Todi.
