Synopsis

In "My Late Lover," widow Anastasia Dexter finds herself the object of affection for three suitors, yet is bewildered by what seems to be her deceased husband's intervention in her choice among them. And in "Sanctuary," Thomas Henshaw, poisoned and facing imminent death, desperately seeks to unmask his assailant within the confines of Gull Island Rest Home, a haven for those with criminal records.
