Synopsis

Lying in the hospital bed, waiting for her tonsillectomy, Jennifer was gripped by a sudden fear that she might never see her family again. As she wrote in her diary, memories surfaced – moments of regret and past hurts involving each of them. She remembered, with a pang, the time she’d intentionally sabotaged Mallory's date with a boy, and then recalled how her own obstinacy, her refusal to rehearse for the play, had cost Alex the chance at the lead role.
