Synopsis

Seeking to make connections, Chris accepts a position as Laura’s assistant, an agent who, in a moment of error, requests he read for her. She is favorably impressed, arranging an audition. However, as Chris and Laura grow closer, his relationship with Kate becomes increasingly strained. Meanwhile, the dancers from Miss Grant's class are angered by Leroy when he secures them work with a summer stock company, only to reject the offer when the producer withdraws their promised wages.
