Synopsis

Ms. Sherwood found him secreted in a closet within her classroom – a former nightclub performer and a close friend of Leroy’s uncle, Eddie Macon. Now without a home and battling alcohol dependence, he became the focus of concern for Leroy and Mr. Reardon, who sought to offer assistance while also including him in the school production. Separately, Holly assisted Doris with her makeup, hoping to capture the attention of a boy she admired.
