Synopsis

The opportunity to audition for Juilliard placed Bruno in a difficult position, pulled between the expectations of his father and those of Shorofsky. The latter believed Bruno was not yet prepared for such a prestigious institution. Yet, during the audition itself, Bruno made a deliberate choice: he played his mother’s favorite melody instead of the piece he had intended, a decision he understood would likely jeopardize his acceptance.
