It’s remarkable how often disabilities remain a sensitive subject in various parts of the world, and Autism Spectrum Disorder continues to be poorly understood. This series tackles some of those false ideas through a personal narrative. It also illustrates the challenges inherent in forming a connection with someone on the autism spectrum, regardless of their intelligence. The story is told from both a father’s and a romantic partner's point of view. Beyond this central theme, the show incorporates legal conflicts, supportive friendships, contests for influence, and calculated actions supposedly motivated by kindness. Every performer delivers an outstanding performance; the depiction of the romantic relationship feels authentic, making it easy to understand why he would be drawn to her.
