It's hard to describe this show; that’s my initial thought about Evil. I’m unsure how to categorize it or even put it into words. I think that might be intentional. It exists in a gray area between faith and disbelief. Initially, watching felt jarring, but as I got used to its oddities—and there are many—I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. Being someone who generally favors logic, the religious elements were entertaining, but thankfully they aren’t presented in a preachy or forceful way. Instead, you're shown different viewpoints and understandings of the world around us. It highlights how drastically different reality can seem depending on your background and beliefs. The performances are good, though not outstanding, and the stories told each episode are generally interesting, although that’s not always the case.
