Synopsis

Norma Hawkins spent her childhood living in dread of her mother, Shirley Allen. For years, she witnessed, with mounting horror, how Shirley’s rage dismantled the lives of those around her. But when death began to follow in Shirley's wake, Norma found herself compelled to summon the courage to betray her own mother and report her to the authorities.
