For freshman Luke and his crew, Tyler and McQuaid, high school is all about one thing: cracking the code of Kate, the enigmatic daughter of the principal. Their plan? Infiltrate the AV club. With the turn of the new year at Boring High School in Oregon, freshman Luke earns the admiration of his peers by extending an invitation to Kate, the principal’s daughter and a sophomore, to visit his home.
Luke conferred with Kate, who was struggling with a difficult day at school. While talking, he stumbled upon a collection of VHS tapes, each one unlocking a flood of poignant recollections.
Luke’s impulsive pull of the fire alarm resulted in detention for him and a summons for his mother to Principal Ken’s office. Meanwhile, the disgruntled members of the drama club began to scheme retribution against the audio-visual students…
