Synopsis

Louis attempts to charm his father into purchasing a secondhand Sludgee machine from the corner store, but Mr. Stevens offers him only a terse, "Get a job." Ren, a volunteer career counselor at school, secures Louis three different positions for him, including one vaguely termed "journalism"—a paper route—but he squanders all three.
