The show requires some patience at first, but it becomes exceptionally engaging. One particular episode created so much suspense that I needed to pause and discuss what might occur with others because I was feeling quite anxious. There are many characters who feel familiar and easy to root for. Nate's father comes across as genuinely kind, though clearly carrying a lot of pain; and Jules is portrayed as an exceptionally positive influence. My main concern lies with the editing—it could be more concise, as I frequently found myself fast-forwarding through scenes that didn’t add much. Generally speaking, Euphoria portrays the struggles faced by young people effectively, without being patronizing or overly sentimental.
