Synopsis

The air hung heavy with unspoken things as Kayo stepped across the threshold, returning home after three days of absence. Her mother, Akemi, observed Satoru and Sachiko standing a few paces back, their expressions unreadable. A question lingered in the space between them: would Kayo finally find safety?
