Synopsis

Abby’s arrival as an attending physician carried a poignant mix of joy and sadness. Neela felt stung to learn of Abby’s promotion through hearsay. A disagreement arose between Abby and the newly appointed ER Chief regarding the best course of treatment for a patient with a gunshot wound. Later, Abby stepped in to support Sam when she faced scrutiny from a nurses' disciplinary board.
