Synopsis

Carter is having a difficult time adjusting to County’s updated systems and protocols. Following a frustrating experience with in vitro fertilization, Banfield and her husband consider the possibility of adopting a child. Meanwhile, Sam’s mother unexpectedly appears, seemingly changed in some way.
